Asomex 1.25 mg Tablet is an anti-hypertensive class of medications indicated for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and angina (chest pain caused by blockages in the arteries leading to the heart).
Each uncoated Asomex 1.25 mg Tablet contains S (-) Amlodipine Besylate equivalent to S (-) Amlodipine 1.25 mg.
S (-) Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker. By relaxing the blood vessels, it lowers blood pressure, therefore, improving the blood flow to the heart.
Use of Asomex 1.25 mg Tablet:
Asomex 1.25 mg Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and angina (chest pain caused by blockages in the arteries leading to the heart). It also helps to prevent the risk of other cardiovascular events.
